The Yomper+ is compatible with most rigid or foldable wheelchairs. If your wheelchair is foldable, it will remain foldable thanks to its retractable support 😉. How? We simply add a mounting bracket underneath your wheelchair.
Easy to install
Two small wheels (at the front of your Yomper+) and a raised handle allow you to easily attach and/or detach it from your wheelchair. There's no need to lift it, even though it's lightweight (5.8 kg).

Adapt your ride to your environment
The 5 speeds per mode (indoor or outdoor) allow you to adjust your speed to your environment. Protect your shoulders and arms even during travel in challenging conditions (slopes, grass, gravel...).
Steer with the handrims
No more need to propel yourself with your arms; Yomper+ will do it for you. The only thing you'll need to do is steer with the handrims. Finally, you can brake the wheelchair using the handrims in indoor mode.

We’ve also thought about the person who may push you on a daily or occasional basis. They can connect a third-party controller to the Yomper+ with a cable. The speed is controlled using a simple dial (push button) without any loss of performance.
This allows a caregiver or companion to steer and control the wheelchair while walking behind the user, without any effort.
Since the motor is positioned along the axis of the wheelchair directly under the seat, there is no protrusion at the back. Your companion won’t be bothered by any obstruction when pushing.

How does the Yomper+ work?
The Yomper is a power add-on for your manual wheelchair. Press the EasyGo button twice to start it and once to stop it. You can also stop it with your wheelchair’s handrims when you are in indoor mode.

Is the Yomper+ compatible with my manual wheelchair?
The Yomper+ motorization is compatible with almost all manual wheelchairs with fixed or foldable frames, thanks to its two types of mounting brackets.
What is the autonomy of the Yomper+?
The autonomy of the Yomper+ power pack is 23 km for the 6Ah battery and 35 km for the 10Ah battery. Find the details in the « Characteristics » tab.
Is its installation on the support easy for a user who has little strength in the arms/hands?
Placing the Yomper+ on its stand is made easier by its raised handle and small front wheels. You can install it on its support without effort.
Can I use it on uneven ground (gravel, pebbles, etc.)?
Yes ! Thanks to its central position, the Yomper+ will always maintain contact with the ground. It will regulate its speed to best suit the surface it is being used on. Watch its off-road adaptation here.
